8 Free Icon Libraries for designers & developers

Every designer (especially UX-Designers) and developer know these struggles: You’re in the process of designing an app or website for a client. And you search on google for icons. You end up on pages like flaticon or freepik. Yes, I know there are beautiful icons and several variants, but these icon packs usually contain only a small selection in a certain style. And you get a limited license if you use the free plan. You can buy the premium plan, but this usually costs several hundred dollars a year. No problem if you work for a client, but for personal use this can be expensive.

So why pay for beautiful icons when there are plenty of free ones available?

This are my favorite 8 free icon libraries:

1. Feather Icons

My favorite icon pack, there's also a Figma plug-in.
